Cumbria Tourism - 50th Anniversary Challenge

Team captain: Amanda MacIntyre

About

In support of the Cumbria Tourism 50th Anniversary Charitable Fund, and to raise awareness around encouraging and supporting entry into the tourism and hospitality industry, we are participating in Cumbria Community Foundation's Virtual Coast to Coast challenge. Members of the Cumbria Tourism team will be taking on some of Cumbria's amazing walking (and horse riding!) routes, and will be posting their updates here.

To mark our 50th Anniversary year, Cumbria Tourism has partnered with Cumbria Community Foundation to launch a new charitable fund to help kickstart people's careers in tourism and hospitality. This new fund will help people aged 16 and over gain financial support for specialist equipment, training, study materials, travel costs, and more to help them access career opportunities in the industry.
